So funny, my daughter went to beauty school right after High School, and she "did" my full face make up. I looked into the mirror and said, "I look like a tranny!" I may have been a bit heavy handed in my day with the black eye liner and frosty lips...but nothing like the contouring pallets, painted eyebrows, fake eye lash stuff. Everyone has their own style, and now I'm a less is more kinda American lady.
I used to use too much, but I think all young women do - it's part fun and part insecurity. Then you realize that less is more in the end. Most men don't like all that spackle on their women anyway, it's phony and tiresomely high maintenance. There's more than a few cosmetics companies nowadays that have gay men as spokes-models. Yuck. As if that's a massive consumer base, LOL
