Sephora doesn't have any "values". Like all companies they have one value called money. That's why they have done this. They think there's more money in it for them. They must have gotten some push back from some made-up lefty group threatening to cause trouble for them on social media. Well fine. Makeup is a huge market. Us boy types don't understand it, but it's a huge market, and they depend on "influencers" on social media - they're one of the big drivers for Instagram and YouTube, with makeup channels.
You're not wrong, there's huge money on the table for them, and if leftists are upset, they could get hit hard. Their core market isn't and will never be conservative women. It's the Kardashian crowd, the whore culture, who slather makeup on with a trowel.
I hate to break it to you, but conservative women spend just as much money on makeup as liberal women. They just don’t wear all the crazy colors and shit so you don’t notice it. They’ll spend a ridiculous amount of money on makeup that makes you look like you’re not wearing makeup.
Conservative people by nature and definition spend less on items that are overpriced for no reason. Makeup wearing level aside a conservative woman is more likely to buy a “mom” brand like Revlon or Covergirl at a drug store than Sephora or MAC. Poor conservatives would never dream of shopping there put poor liberals will spend their tax check at MAC, no problem. The only conservatives shopping at MAC or Sephora are wealthy ones. You go in that store it’s like 80% young morons and 20% their mothers.
I never wore makeup in my life. The one time i had it put on was at the counter in Bloomingdales. I looked like a clown. I love rocking me in all my glory. Never wore a weave either. Just looks ridiculous on a black woman. Im recovering from cancer and never put on a wig. Rocked the bald head and received many compliments. People thought i did it for fashion.
IMO if you have to throw all that crap on, you arent confident in who you are as a person. Love yourself the way you are and your true beauty will shine through.
