Did they actually, finally lose money? Or are these still only theoretical losses because they still have time before the shorted stocks have to be bought back?
This is probably just other stocks that went down because people are pulling out until all this is over because they are scared of a crash. I don't think it's because they were short it's just that FB, MSFT, etc dropped.
