One of my great-uncles took a chunk out of his skull in a sledding accident. He wound up with a metal plate, but he didn't whine like a little bitch about it for the rest of his life. Sledding is "surprisingly" dangerous because it rarely results in severe injuries, but any activity involving speed is potentially deadly. That's what makes it fun. Unless you sled into a parked car. I ain't your mother so I don't care if you don't wear a helmet though. Your body, your choice.
