Inciting a riot when the building was open from 9 to 4 for visitors?? Clear evidence of Antifa doing the damage? Police clearly standing down, if it was a riot, why didn't they call for the NG???
He should tell them he is a private citizen and the congress needs to bring their case in a criminal court. Also refuse to have it heard in DC because of the hostile environment.
Nothing prevents Trump from appearing or speaking at the trial..but it’s likely he won’t. If he did, it would be the most incredible thing to watch...with the most unpredictable outcome.

Impeachment “trial” since it appears he is going to fight it through his lawyers.
Censure, if it happens, would not involve him directly so not sure how he could fight it except relying on GOP allies in Congress.
Well J Socolow is amazing so if he and his team of lawyers take it on instead of Trump ever appearing I am resigned to it.

I would love it to be a great moment in legal history, but it would be nothing but You are out of order. A complete waste of his time IMO
