Started paying attention to the survivalist and prepper communities, seeing what they were buying. I'd buy it up super cheap, sell it high on Ebay for stupid money to panic buyers. Laughed all the way to the bank.
But it took me down some rabbit holes along the way, and the further I went, the more I realized how manipulated we were all being. The indoctrination at the schools, the two political parties that were only different arms of the same beast designed to fool us into thinking we had a choice. Other things had led up to that point, like Waco, Ruby Ridge, Desert Storm, but I never really saw past what they had on the TV before 98. Then I couldn't stop seeing past. We were being played by people we didn't even see, people with mad money who thought we were nothing more than ants.
