Without a doubt there will be people who'll hand over their weapons because many are still programmed to trust the men in uniform. But hopefully enough people know history and realize once you give them up, it is over.
I'd rather die in my doorway than take the step towards watching this country fall into communism(definitely preferable to living under it). When push comes to shove though, it's a terrifying thought to be put in that position while living in a very blue city in a very blue state, I don't think any neighbors would be rushing to help.
I guess we might find out how many people have to be gunned down in their homes by their state/government before enough people start to organize and fight back. Hope now that an actual dictator has stolen the election, people will stop caring about the optics, medias going to do what they're going to do regardless.
