My guess is that the display contains high tech security that prevents access via means other than hacking. Similar to a Faraday cage.

High tech? There's a lapel mic taped to the bottom, and a web cam attached to the top. I haven't seen a monitor like that in years, my first guess it's an old plasma screen. Hard to tell. But going by the massive bezel and thickness, it's old. Might be an old all-in-one computer?

Hard to believe that someone with Trumps money wouldn't have up to the minute best gear deployed, who knows?

Look closer. Notice how it's built. That's a custom rig, likely military-rated, dust/crush/waterproof. Many of those rigs don't come with internal mics or cameras, as they're considered poor opsec.

FWIW, "up to the minute best gear" is often not applicable when the highest opsec is required.

Not convinced. That's a consumer grade web cam on it. Show me a listing for a custom rig like that.

Not worth arguing about, but I tend to think something custom made wouldn't look like that.

Show me a listing of a retail rig like that. I'll wait.

Not worth arguing about, but I tend to think something readily available off the shelf wouldn't look like that.
