TBF even innocent people need to go through trial if charged.

But even there we fail as a nation to uphold our founding principles. Trial in a timely manner?? Not for a long time has that been true.

Often the process is the punishment. When the media runs your name through the mud and lawyers drain your bank accounts, it doesn't really matter if you win in court.
