Looking for a sober recap of events. No MAGA spin, no MSM bullshit, no speculation. How bad was it? What do we know? What do we not know? Just real shit I can handle it.
Asking here because I can barely stomach the fake news anymore.

A couple of people, we don't know if they were MAGA, AntiFA, Proud Boys or a combination of all 3 cut the (flimsy) fence barrier and climbed up over the wall and a group of MAGA folks went up to the back wall (only) and started yelling fight for Trump, USA, etc. They used some of the barricades as ladders. I'm guessing this took place soon after they saw Pences post. They were peaceful flag waving people and I was damn proud of them for doing it. The energy was awesome, Police were tear gassing them for no reason (but I wasn't at the front lines, only was at the back)
Trump was still speaking, we had just gotten there and were settling down by the pond in the back when we saw the surge forward.
Another combination of that group thereof, broke or forced their way into the Capitol maybe 30 minutes later. I wasn't inside so I cannot speak to those events.
At this point (when the announcement was made that they were inside) the person I was with and I left since the NG were on their way, it was getting crowded, and it had been a long day. I was planning on going back, but Trump put out the video to go home and be peaceful, so I stayed at my hotel.
