Abandoned land mines???

In the US, where are they exactly? I don't recall seeing a demand for land mine restoration?

Or is she suggesting that the millions of miles of caverns dug for hundreds of years to mine for copper, zinc, uranium, coal, iron that thread this country are going to be "restored"???

To be used for what, housing???
