Not a prop. Replica from the original molds. Warner bros sued the owner a while back to not finish it. They won. Then the patent expired. Now a bunch of people have them. One dude built one with a real jet engine.
They found the trailer from Smokey and the bandit, it was almost in ruins. And the boat from water world, trashed just a few years after the movie was done.
I saw a thing recently about the 68 Mustang GT from Bullitt. That thing sat in storage for years and they even turned down offers from McQueen to buy it.
The batmobile (tumbler) from the bale/nolan flicks actually performed as you see it on screen, except the roof jumping. Booster was effects, but the 60 mph turns were legit and so was the jump into the cave.
i hate when famous movie props go to shit. Just doesn't seem right for some reason.

Would still be in great condition?
It is a fiberglass kit body.
Just need the Corvette chassis and engine, think that was what it was built for, and then you have a driveable BatMobile.
.
The three new Batman movies never made any sense.
He did lose most of his money during them?
Maybe he did end up losing a lot in hedge fund scams.
Reply is correct except that it was widened by a few inches and stretched by a foot or two.
Looks like like the only thing there not rotting away.

The chassis for the Tim Burton Batmobile was a Chevy Impala.
But the new Batwoman basically has a C7 Corvette.
There was also a kit people could buy.
