These people have spent the last year allowing themselves to be scared into submission. They’re so mentally broken and terrified of the virus that they’re no longer functional human beings. An uncovered human face is seen as dangerous and abnormal. Previously encouraged physical intimacy like hugging or kissing they see as equivalent to murder. They won’t easily go back, and they’re not going to be able to return to normal lives even if Fauci tells them it’s okay.
It is truly sad to see. I would feel really bad for them, but you know they’ve been doing it to themselves by watching too much CNN.
