Actually, they're slapping this together to head off the fuckton of lawsuits being generated by small businesses over being locked down. Current Oregon law demands that business owners (and other property owners) be compensated by the state if the state disrupts the lawful use of that property.

I do see were you are going with this... Reading the bill, I am thinking they would make up some "emergency" could be anything really. In order to seize personal property and basically turning farmland and timber over to china? Kate is real tight with Xi..

Added a couple links and info above.. It was up for approval a week or so ago and is on the State's site. I was reminded tonight about it because they are refusing to post rona numbers as public record and do all sorts of things in the dark, for instance...
