I'm sure lefist terrorists have been threatening and harrassing any law firm that considered working with Trump.

That's understandable. The best legal strategy would be to just ignore the election issues, just like how Trump could have avoided a lot of trouble by just conceding.

But Trump ain't a bitch.

Drag them through the mid. Force them to do every dirty trick in the book to get him out.

How exactly does it help to not present evidence that refutes the charge?

Only think I can think of, is that Trump cares more about exposing the fraud than not being impeached.

Lindsey Graham is the enemy.

I knew that’s why they set up the false flag attack on the capitol. It was to keep the evidence out of the congressional record. That’s what got interrupted and why they were do desperate as to resort to such extreme measures to interrupt the challenge.

Now they’re probably making lawfare and death threats against any lawyers willing to do the same thing.

If I were Trump I’d show up by myself if I had to in order to ensure that the evidence is entered into the record.

What does it matter if it’s on congressional record? We need our real president in the Oval Office now!

Because if he can get it on record and be proven right (or at least, they can't prove him wrong on his claims) Then not only impeachment but lots of other things fall into place and Trump gets a lot more power.

Cascading effect. Unfortunately its not quick enough for people.

I do not think they will go through with the impeachment, they never want to see that evidence see the light of day, willing to bet at the last moment it will all be called off. They are deathly afraid of him, but they are more afraid of all the evidence, and there is a plethora of it all..

They will have the same situation as before, they will present the charges to the Senate,

They will not let Trump present any evidence that is NOT about inciting a riot. NOTHING about the election will be allowed into evidence. The Senate will vote, they do not have enough votes to impeach. End of.

This is theatre, control the headlines, control the message while in the background Biden signs EOs without end.

The Deep State tried setting him up with shitty lawyers like they did to Flynn.

Speaking as a lawyer I can confirm that most are gutless cowards. If the media stories are correct I believe Trump is right to include election fraud evidence in his defence.

The ridiculous charges from the Dems have included election fraud in the "indictment" and if Trump can prove massive fraud happened - which it did - he or his future followers will win in a massive landslide in 2022.

From what I've read it sounded like Rudy's team sure let their egos and vices derail things and not letting Powell have more lead with the widespread fraud that's been uncovered kept things disconnected and too disorganized. Rudy's approach failed bigly. I put my money on Powell and still believe she should have been lead.

It wouldn’t have mattered what they did. They were never allowed into court to present their case. All of these people deserve a medal. They put everything on the line.

4
Bonami 4 points ago +4 / -0

The same thing will happen with this, the charge will be inciting a riot, period. Nothing to do with the election will be allowed as evidence as it is not directly related to the charges.

Awakened 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, it will be a complete circus.

Byrne's account made it sound like a shitshow. I'm inclined to believe it.

Smart move

I like his style!

wdang 3 points ago +3 / -0

Correct. The previous lawyers wanted to focus on the unconstitutionality of impeachment while Trump wanted to focus on election fraud.

Oh thank god. That was my biggest fear when he hired this Graham connected lawyer. Even post election. SCORCHED EARTH. EXPOSE TO THE WORLD WHAT A SHAM OUR INSTITUTIONS ARE.

theglynn 1 point ago +1 / -0

He may not even have all of it... and it seems to me he has to show he did not incite anything, which I know he did not but how about the evidence of Antifa and such protangonists who used the situation.
