I'm in nursing. My left-leaning coworkers love that "healthcare is a basic human right" nonsense. I like to point out that making our services a "basic human right" is a pretty good reason not to pay us.
They already do that here. The more stuff they pass about health care the worse it gets. My husband is a quad and we have to fight to get certain antibiotics or procedures. The more gov takes healthcare, the worse it will get. Eventually he won't be able to get it, the government will say hes too old and will never be productive...

It is great until they start doing like in the UK where hospitals get to decide whether your child gets treatment or not.
