The distortions and lies in this front page hit piece are astounding. Sample:

"There was no substantial evidence of election fraud, and there were nowhere near enough “irregularities” to reverse the outcome in the courts."

It took a team of seven liars to concoct it, probably to diffuse the blame when the falsehoods get called out. This is the revenge of the establishment against someone who dared go against them. Undoubtedly the TV media will again as with the fake RussiaGate pound the public with Orwellian lies to justify the sham trial.

What can we do to combat this? While it is corporations that broadcast the lies, perhaps we need to begin targeting the individuals who choose to lie.

The Senate trial will be the first national public forum in which the election fraud evidence will be rolled out, and in a way that the media will have little effective control over.

Half of the senators, roughly, would presumably give Trump's lawyers leave to make the case. Obviously this is not a done deal, and the fact that a partisan will be presiding instead of the Chief Justice makes the whole outcome that much more uncertain. To be sure it will ne a circus and a shit show.
