Lmfao. I can tell you. Japan took a long time to even allow for stuff they did during ww2 and prior to make it into their textbooks. They’re cool over there but too prideful it feels. Never seen that with you guys over here. I respect that. You openly allow the ugly side of history to be taught as common place because it’s an important lesson. The reason why the other side doesn’t learn is because they try to wash away the ugly sht their ideology did and does. I take personal offense to that, as would anybody else who has had experience over there. Fact is, they dehumanize stories of what it’s really like when they discard them. To them, tales that speak in favour of their ideology from ppl from that side of the world who speak its praises are used as an asset to advertise it while ppls’ accounts that speak itstruth are discarded.
