He did this REALLY BAD movie about some jewish guy that fell into pickle brine..or broth...or juice, whatever it's called that comes out the vat of pickles and meets his contemporary relative (also played by Seth). Honestly, I know I wasted life on it. I feel remorse knowing I can't get time back. I wish we could sue Seth for all the shitty movies he's made.
All of Rogen and Apatow's funny movies would get both of them on the wrong side of cancel culture if they were made today, so they have to be aggressively woke to avoid their ire. Remember the transgender bit from 40 year old virgin? None of their "bro" comedy would make it now since they're too pussified these days.

It’s hard for me to believe that Seth Rogen gets high with his buddies in private and they are all completely on board with Bruce Jenner being the hottest woman around and NO ONE cracks a joke.

This is why most of hollywood and corporate America are doing this. It's not because they suddenly hate everyone and hate America its because the corrupt leadership that makes or breaks their personal lives says do it or fall from your position of power and luxury and be banned from getting it back. Also remember that even the leadership doesn't really care about socialism or being commie. Thats just the way to get the youth riled up and change the culture so we become weak and divided and easy prey for our enemies like china. Our corrupt leader do this so that china will become ascendant and they get to stay in power.
No one cares.
It just gives them a new platform to preach about how much they've changed and grown, and how their current position is the obvious result of progressivism and growth.
Turns them into a success story.
Go back and watch The Larry Sanders Show. Apatow was a writer on that show and you can really hear a lot of his style in it. A lot of the humor in that show was “politically incorrect” as well.

The Office too. I've been rewatching it and I used to love Steve Carell, but he went woke so I refuse to watch any of his new shit (and that new shit has been absolute trash, like that Space Force show on Netflix). The Office would never in a million years survive if it wasn't a cult classic. They're constantly calling people gay and queer, and that's in seasons one and two.
Michael Scott is honestly a really great picture of the woke left. He tries so hard to look accepting, inclusive, and cool with black people, but in doing so is actually super racist.

Seth Rogan is the walking, talking embodiment of the Peter Principle. He did well in movies he didn't write or direct, so he got bumped up to where people believed he could write or direct. Spoiler: he can't. And, he's a piss poor actor who can only play a narrow range of parts (stoner), he can't get roles.
Plus, he's a literal moron.
If you want to blame Seth Rogan on anyone, look no further than Judd Apatow, who made him famous. The guy responsible for Lena Dunham, another talentless waste of time.
