Thank you. You cannot be a rich anything and be a socialist. And by rich i mean having a car, a job and more than $10,000 in the bank. That is rich compared to anyone else in the entire world. So movie stars have literally no leg to stand on in this conversation. They are 100% all in for capitalism (and guns if we're being honest. Private security). And borders (walls around homes).
It is hypocritical to have those beliefs and also retain wealth. Why wait for the state to take it? Why not voluntarily give it up? The reason is that they have no intention of ever losing their wealth. Communism will even out all of the peasants, but the ruling class will always be privileged. People like Seth Rogan see themselves as future high ranking party members, immune to the suffering of regular people. They are literally too retarded to understand that a communist country has no need for their "talents", but a lot of need for their wealth. Seth Rogan and all of the other celebrities would be dragged out of their mansions and arrested under false pretenses so the state can take their wealth.
To be in the top 1% worldwide your income needs to only be around $30K/year. Basically the proposed $15/hr min wage will put you there.
The question for all the lefties then becomes, do you support paying 90% of your income until world poverty is eradicated, or are you only into socialism when you think its other peoples money being confiscated and given to you? Its amazing how peoples world view 180's when the flow of cash starts to come from them.
