I have not identified as my sexuality since I was 18 or younger. I'm straight but that means nothing to me. It is what it is and nobody should care if I don't. If I did no have equal rights then I would probably be making a scene about it but everyone has the same rights. But I am not my sexuality. Sexuality is a means and happens to be pleasurable but if I think about what I identify as, they are the things I strive for, God, better musicianship, better fluency in Japanese, and long list of other things that I choose to pursue above and beyond putting my dick in things. If I did I would be a pervert or a knuckle dragger at least.
To be fair really it’s really just extreme narcissism that results from having no real purpose in life outside of superficial identity.
People with a lack of purpose typically suffer from extremely low self esteem. The easy “solution” for such a person is to construct a facade to invest in from which they generate a false sense of purpose from. Since the person in question is purposeless without this facade they tend to lash out in extreme anger whenever it is threatened. This is why so many leftists are so irrational when threatened, without the artificial purpose they derive from their “virtuous” facades they are purposeless drones adrift in an endless sea of nothing.
