I am an old man and have seen the world go from Outhouses and literal hand pumps in the kitchen for water to the techno-crazy world of today and in this time I noticed that the Republicans and Democrats became ONE PARTY of Corrupt criminal elitists who no longer love America or Americans and our way of life. What I have seen happen is people think that being on a Political Ideologies side is how to be a good American.
I can tell you right now there is only 2 parties us AMERICANS and them the DEMICANS or REPUBLICRATS!
I always found if weird that the left complains their democrat politicians are ineffectual at getting their populist left ideologies passed when they take office, and the right says the exact same thing when their guys take over. It's almost like they work together to make sure big corporations get whatever they want and then just blame each other whenever they try to do anything to help average americans. Even Obamacare was an insurance companies wet dream in the end.
The Reps and Dems are like the Corleones and Gambionos. They fight with each other over territory and such but he the Police shows up they circle the wagons and join forces to fight off the threat to their power in crime.
The Dems and Reps do the same thing, argue over petty small things that neither side really will ever change anything about but when the People come together against them they circle the wagons and make laws against the People, COnstitution and the Conscience.
Amen! Our government is no longer for the people. Our citizens have been programmed to believe the government has the right to control people. This is wrong. We are the government. They are OUR employees. It is time we take back control. The usa has a constitutional government for the people, by the people. NEVER FORGET!
i'm not far behind on the age thingy so perhaps you can relate to my theory. here goes. our govt. pretty much eradicated the mafia and organized crime late last century. but the criminal element does not just disappear, it evolves. becoming a politician, which even organically begins most times with dubious exchanges of money and indebtedness in order to be elected, is the new criminal enterprise. Really when one thinks objectively about it, there are many parallels between the two occupations. the same opportunist criminal element/mind that once was prevalent as notorious gangsters and mafiosos, has essentially gravitated to greener pastures and is now our elected elite.
That is hilarious that you would use this analogy to Politicians being Mafia...
