Pedes need to get back onto Reagan's "Trust, but verify" policy with all their political "darlings."
Politicians "stabbing us in the back" is a great way to motivate people emotionally, but the fact that we haven't been anticipating these maneuvers reflects poorly on our judgement. It's time to stop equating "liking" politicians (and even allies for that matter) because they are "based" and start looking under the hood at the Realpolitik to further our goals....

Trusting politicians is always a mistake. The profession neither attracts or abides honest people.
But your point stands, us plebs are way too apt to forget a career of treachery after "muh based tweets" and sound bites.
Never trust. Always verify.
But that's not the way our minds work. We need to be able to trust people in order to move onto more important tasks. I'm not going to personally evaluate every move made by every politician, but if I know GP is looking into the top levels of the GOP, I can assume that they're covered.... That also means that the lower echelons of the party actually require more effort on our part to make sure they're not running off the rails. We don't want any more Brian Kemps in our lot.
Speak for yourself. I never just “trusted Trump”. He’s only one guy that objectively let us down in many ways. Yes he was the best president of probably the last 100 years, that doesn’t contradict what I just said. I was incredibly outspoken in support of him though when he actually DID something that was good. Otherwise it’s probably best to not expect anything, and do all that you legally can to demand and a FORCE your “representatives” to take action in your favor. Trust is basically “But The Plan!” idiocy which was obvious bullshit you could smell from all the way across the country. Lazy people get the government they deserve.
I agree with most of that... but I'm simply stating that we should be efficient with our time and unfortunately what is entertaining to watch, may not be as important to reaching our political objectives.
Case in point, Ted Cruz made some statements of concession against Trump and is being lambasted by team MAGA for it.

While I don't think it's a bad idea to whip these people back into shape, the fact of the matter is most of the people defending the realPOTUS are doing so at their own peril against the Twitter Mob every day.
Not to mention, the Democrats have pulled out all the stops and are attacking them in congress too:

They aren’t making any friends and they aren’t making allies, they want their fake and to eat it to. They want Trump voters, but they don’t want Trump.
I'm sure many of the see Trump as a liability.
Doesn't matter Voting in America is dead. All you people clinging to some hope about a red wave in 2022 or what, fucking, ever. Are delusional as the Q tards are/were.
Voting is dead in the US. Only one thing will change that, and that's why they are going to wall off DC.
Is it? They rigged an election in 2020.... We know that now. That opens up a whole range of options for 2022 that would have been unthinkable in an honest election.
No it doesn't.
