Went to a Cruz 'virtual rally' this past weekend, wouldn't have gone if I'd seen this. I voted for Cruz in the past - keyword: past.

Note to GOP in 2024: You Cruz, you lose.

I think the only major politician who has not flip flopped on Trump has been Matt Gaetz. The second I see a flip flop I know they are just playing political games.

I hope you will look at what Cruz actually said before making judgement.

Yes, I looked at what Cruz actually said....and I've also looked at the evidence with my own fucking eyes. I don't give a shit if it was never allowed to be presented in to our completely corrupt courts....I used my own fucking eyes and brain.

I do not need the governments stamp of approval before believing completely unrefuted video, photographic, and statistical evidence. It was not proven in court means fuck all, it was not disproven either.

What does any of that have to do with Cruz said? Cruz said he agrees with Trump, just not his rhetoric. Cruz is not refuting that there was voter fraud.

You're not comprehending what Cruz said. Others here break it down. It's courtroom / lawyer / politician speak, which DJT never does.

Cruz merely rephrased what DJT said, tuning it for his audience. He's fighting for Trump. Not the way I would, not the way I'd like to see him; but he's fighting for DJT.

Why does Cruz and Republicans in general keep trying to "meet in the middle" and appease the socialist left? He should be calling out someone like AOC for being a psycho bitch and a liar. I almost have more respect for her for telling him off. Their side takes no quarter.

I don’t think he’s trying to meet in the middle nor appease the socialist left. He believes that repeatedly reminding us that we were being ripped off was reckless and irresponsible, and pointless since it should be a matter for the courts.

He objected to the electoral college even after the capitol incident, he's repeatedly said there was voter fraud, he offered to argue the SCOTUS case, etc etc. Is that cucked?

bigchubby 25 points ago +28 / -3

Well to now say publicly that the president is responsible for the capital riots and to say that trump was irresponsible in my opinion is turning his back on us. So yes. Cucked

Y'all can't make your mother fucking minds up what y'all want..... if he had talked the talk and not voted you would have said the same exact thing, and voting is supposed to be his ultimate power to walk the walk, and he voted with us and then gave a personal opinion about what he had seen so far at that point - and where I'm also sure that the context of listening to that entire segment is also important, but of course he will be crucified over a snippet of the segment....

Clearly he thought he saw enough evidence of fraud to at least stop the process and examine everything because that's exactly how he voted even after the "riots"....

Some of y'all are no better than the left with your cancel culture faggotry

When he says that trump was irresponsible is when he crossed the line.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't see that aa what Cruz said. If that's what he means he'd vote to convict

Has he said that's a good idea? If not, you're misunderstanding him.

CannonballJunior 4 points ago +8 / -4

They're referring to this as "cucked":

President Trump’s rhetoric, I think, went way too far over the line. I think it was both reckless and irresponsible because he said repeatedly—and he said over and over again—he won by a landslide; there was massive fraud; it was all stolen everywhere. That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court, and to make a determination about an election it has to be based on the evidence, and so simply saying the result you want, that’s not responsible and you’ve never heard me use language like that.

KekistanPM 7 points ago +8 / -1

Yeah, that rhetoric about going peacefully to the Capitol...that was surely code for everyone getting their guns out and shooting up the place! /s

CannonballJunior 1 point ago +4 / -3

I think cruz was referring to the President's statements in November & December prior to January 6th, not to the speech on the 6th.

I don't know man, it sounds like he's betraying us. Can you give a better explanation or view for what he said and meant?

1
CannonballJunior 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why are you directing that question to me?

0
CuomoisaMassMurderer 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yes. Cruz re-stated what DJT said, in language more tuned to his audience.

-1
CuomoisaMassMurderer -1 points ago +0 / -1

Now look at the next paragraph. Cruz merely re-states what DJT said, in language more tuned to his audience.

3
CannonballJunior 3 points ago +3 / -0

I read the next paragraph. Doesn't alter the fact that Cruz's language about Trump was absolute shit.

dianabrown1 1 point ago +2 / -1

something happened there...no question. My bet is we will never know what it was that turned him.

There's what you say and what you do about it.

He'd suck anyone's scrotum and lick anyone's perineum as long as he's getting something out of it. Remember he was trashing Mr. Trump and later he was on his knees in front of him.
