I used to be a Cruz supporter back before 2016. Watching his behavior, hearing his statements, and seeing who he was associating with during his presidential campaign soured me on him, like it did most people here. I know many thought he had a strong redemption arc over the past few years, but the guy would still often end up demonstrating evidence of the same cuckservative behavior that he displayed back in 2016, so he never regained my support or trust. This latest from him is actually more expected than a surprise. I would never vote for Cruz even if we had fair elections.
