Does it look like Ted Cruz "executed the people's will" to you?

I listened to the podcast in question and yeah, it sounds like he did. Politics is the art of the possible and without blackmailing, bribing, or using threats of violent retribution he did. The other side did all three and won. Kinda makes ya think.

You have to explain that. I already understand the part about "the other side." You can skip that part.

Explain what "the people's will" is and how Cruz did it.

He did it within the rules of the system.

Well hold on now. Do we even trust the people's will anymore? What if it is "the people's will" to abandon capitalism in favor of Communism? We have shown that so many people are not even worthy of expressing an opinion and certainly not capable or worthy of voting. I would agree with you if we were to define 'by and for the people'. For the people, no issue. By the people, certainly not all of them should be involved as has been made abundantly clear.

I am too dumb to really know the difference. You seem to have a more nuanced way of describing things. I think what I want is "the peoples will" at this point. Too much stupid shit has taken place, I dont remember how to be reasonable anymore.
