Id like to be that optomistic. Something has happened to Cruz. Hard to know what it could be. I listened to his most recent Verdict podcast where he was wound up over #45. It was not rational. It was also a 180 as to where he normally sits on #45. I find it hard to believe its because he contested the 11/3/2020 election and made statement he won by a landslide. For Christs sakes, if you dont beleive the man ASK FOR EVIDENCE. Better yet, READ AND DIGEST the evidence. Even better hold a hearing to LISTEN TO the hundreds of people with sworn affidavits of voter fraud. Its not that difficult. This whole thing is beyond bizarre.
It's not that bizarre, it's just Ted being a fair weather friend. Remember all the things he said about Trump during the 2015 primaries? Even up to showing up at the convention and doing a speech about how he was better than Trump?
Ted's first 180 was that he ever supported Trump at all. And as soon as Trump got forced out, Ted was perfectly happy to 180 again. He's never been on our side, except, perhaps, in that he doesn't seem to be all-in on the cabal and can therefore play nice with whichever side is winning.
With "friends" like that you dont need enemies. I dont see any difference between the democrats and the republicans. Majority, like the 80X20 rule are worse than useless in that they are dangerous in their viciousness. They project #45 is an attack dog when it is actually all of them, like a pack of dogs, attacking viciously non-stop. Its all like a wierd sick movie rather than reality.
Are you this dull? You would support someone like this? This isn’t a court room it’s public opinion. Cruz is a typical politician a weak minded coward. He and others are the reason the dems are in power again.
I am going to see what he says in the future before I make my decision on whether he betrayed us or not. 4 years is a long time to see what he does. So far though, it's not looking good.

At best he's an opportunist, who was genuinely on Trump's side (inasmuch as he's ever on a side) for as long as Trump was in office, and is now quite content to sidle back to the rest of the loser GOP and play their "aw shucks, we'll get 'em next time, but let's not get too fired up about this" game.
At worst, he's always been one of the deepest cover swamp members.

Does it really matter if he knows how big the movement is if he doesn't actually agree with it? Just pandering to it doesn't cut it...
We should never trust what politicians said. The only thing can tell a politician’s true color is voting records/proposed bill.
