Watch the actual video. The comment about Trump's rhetoric is only a few seconds,, in the middle of Ted Cruz spending 15+ minutes advocating for a REAL investigation of election fraud, and says there WAS fraud.
Please don't be so quick to say "fuck Cruz" when he's one of the very FEW people who is fighting for MAGA. I'm sickened to see MAGA attacking one of our last allies and advocates in the Senate.
“The president’s language and rhetoric often goes too far. I think, yesterday in particular, the president’s language and rhetoric crossed the line and it was reckless,” Cruz said in an interview with ABC13 Houston.
He's directly talking about the 6th. Trump said nothing wrong. What more do you need to realize that Cruz decide to play politics because he wants to win 2024. He knows there's no chance if Trump can run 2024
For sure, Cruz definitely plays politics in a diplomatic way. Criticizing Trumps rhetoric is popular. And criticizing Cruz for not telling the WHOLE truth (or not being aware of it) is valid.
Trump did say nothing wrong on the 6th, or at least I have not seen a single clip yet of him saying anything even remotely close to wrong.
I still think Cruz is one of the best allies we have for now. If we can get even better allies, I'm 100% behind that, but until then Ted Cruz has been far more consistent in supporting us than anyone else in the Senate.
No he's a fucking rat. Ted knows exactly what he's doing. He knows Trump said nothing wrong in the nov 6th speech. Yet he has the audacity to claim a line was crossed. Sorry I live in Texas and will not stand for it. He fucked up.
