they already have, we're already at a multi tier military where you can enter the military but you don't qualify for certain units.
So then these assholes went and fought to reduce the Ranger and SEAL and other qualifications so lower bar applicants could get in.
So now, even within those communities you have multiple tiers of people who deserve to be there and people who are there.
All because the guy at the front door isn't allowed to do his job and firmly say "no" because that poor guy is became the face of discrimination because some fat loaf thought it was their right to serve.
go to any of the military ama subs and read some of the questions.
people with diagnosed ADHD, actively taking anti psychotics, who have cutter marks and confirmed suicide attempts asking about he possibility of a waiver.
then you've got people who are legitimately worried about a 14 minute 1.5 mile run in a gym with running shoes.
gotta feel a little bad for what recruiters need to deal with
During one of my past Security Clearance reviews the Investigator informed me in passing about past 'adjustments' by Recruiters to statements made by applicants that would be disqualifying.
Apparently it was prevalent enough to be causing problems with Security Clearances renewals years later when the truth was outed.
I'm personally acquainted with a number of past recruiters. The majority of them are top notch professionals...but a few are little weasels...
toughest (not saying dangerous, but toughest) job in the military.
The US military considers recruits to be the dumbest of dumb fucks in the US. They literally have to teach you how to brush your teeth, wash your ass, and make your bed.
Then they put these recruiters out to go deal with them before they get taught any of that.
And a recruiters entire career is determined by how well they deal with these idiots and get them in safely.
Even the jobs where you swim in literal shit to clean sewers is at least more straightforward than that shit.
yep, so actual accountability is on each unit itself to maintain internal physical or mental standards and that is one blow out publicized incident away during a biden administration from getting stripped from commander's authority.
I'll wager Waivers will increase...or they'll simply lower standards...

Nope.
Maybe a massive wave of trannies will volunteer. All three of them.
Have you seen some of them? They would fall under the obesity category, misconduct or aptitude.
Don't worry, pede! The military has a plan for that. They will just lower standards. Again. And again. And again.

Recruiters are tasked to get them in. It's up to the DIs to determine their Adaptability to Military Life.
Sadly these days it's NOT the Recruits fault if they fail...and DIs are required to take a 'Time Out' if things get too hairy.
Too many little 'Trophy Winners' are leaking past the shit filters...
