Actually I did my own research when the Coupe flu first came to this country and all this crap began. Stanford University, MIT, and Oxford University did research on the effectiveness of face masks. The results of their findings dispute the specification material that Dow Chemical puts out to sell their N92 and N95 face masks. The size range of the SARS CoV2 virus runs between 60 and 165 nanometers, giving it an average size of 105 nanometers. The averages size of the space between the fibers in these masks is actually 3 microns. A micron is 1000 times larger than a nanometers. This means approximately 28.5 covid cells can blow through each one of these spaces every time you exhale (and they do float in the air). Down trys to say that Brownian motion and adhesion prevents that. As an old pipe fitter I can tell you that adhesion (friction in a fluid) will only occur next to the mask surface in these openings. Brownian motion pretty much negligent since that is actually the motion caused by a change in energy at atomic and molecular levels. The mass of this virus would be to much for that kind of effect to happen. I could go on for a long time about how and why this thing was unleashed on this world, but that will have to be for another time.
