I agree. The virus isn't our fault, certainly. But as u/JohnnyRico69 has pointed out, it was we who acquiesced not only with the fraudulent election, but also with the masks, the social distancing, the fear that has settled onto society. And not just our society either, but across the whole world. The result? Now I see no way to go back to normal, ever -- or at least no peaceful way. And the ones who are in power are LOVING it. Currently that includes both Democrats and Republicans. (And I say that as someone who has voted a straight Republican ticket since 1996.)

Again, I desperately want to be wrong, and would love it if someone proved me wrong. Meanwhile, I'd like to continue the "It's OK to be white / Christian / male / whatever" idea with "It's OK not to be afraid of COVID."
