Read it again. It reduces, not blocks.

We're talking a crazy deadly disease - minor reduction is useless when there are system that can block it.

If OSHA doesn't approve it for aerosol use, then it's nothing but a crappy substitution. Mandate a mask that is rated to do the job you want it to do.

Do you have some evidence this actually helps? Perhaps a correlation between mask mandates and cases dropping?

It's one thing to be in a lab setting and say 'wow less droplets'. It's a whole nother thing to say 'this actually reduces disease'.

this is akin to saying, "well you've shown that guard rails stop people from falling off the bridge, but i have no data to suggest less people will die by installing them..."
