Now if only we had some lab results for criteria that are different between california and new Zealand so we could gain some insite into what factor makes NZ different.

Why would I do that? Not very scientific to test 1000 criteria simultaneously.

We're going to keep doing the whole living life thing until you can find criteria that explain NZ vs CA.
