I stopped watching ALL professional sports in 2014 after my husband died. ... It holds no interest for me; much like academy awards, etc... It doesn't affect my garden,lifestyle to waste time oogling inbred elites who wear more cash in one article of clothing than I earn in a year.

I used to comment on the oscars on Facebook when they were running live (this is going back to 2009/10). It was mainly to piss off a few "friends" that took that garbage seriously. We are no longer friends, and good riddance.

I never had any interest in sports to begin with but I love seeing their ratings/attendance crumble due to the kneeling and the plandemic. (Same with MSM/Hollywood, watching them fail so quickly in a flurry of desperate "woke" pandering is some of the only entertainment they have ever provided me!)

Playing a sport is frigging fun. You'll get no argument from me. They keep you healthy and competition never hurts anyone. I was never good at any of that shit, but I'll be damned if I played and let people walk over me :-).

I stopped watching the NFL completely in 2013, and I used to be really into it, watching every televised game. Now I don't pay any attention to it at all and when I hear people talking about it, they might as well be talking about the Academy Awards, which is something I never gave a single fuck about.
Just last week a clown that sometimes plays music with my band asked me if I watched the games the day before, and I asked him what games he was talking about. He said "football", so I told him I don't watch football. Then he launched into some TDS leftist bullshit, which I'm still not clear on how it related to the games he mentioned, but it gives you a good idea about who is still watching the NFL.

I'm not American, and I could never understand why Americans like American football so much. I had tried to watch it, thinking, "if it is so popular, it must have at least something interesting" but it was boring. Soccer (or real football) or baseball are a lot more fun to watch.
American Football is a beutiful game but the NFL has made it into a political platform rather than what it should be. Fun.

People here in the USA claim baseball is boring compared to football. I used to be a big baseball fan, but my interest waned as things got more and more political ... I can't watch or listen to any of it anymore. It's become hot garbage.
Anyway, you can watch every single play in an NFL game after it airs in 20 minutes. You literally sit in front of a TV for 3 hours to watch 20 minutes of action. The entire sport has been reworked over the years to sell almost three hours worth of commercials and it has made it virtually unwatchable to millions of former fans.
The political aspect of the NFL really opened a lot of people's eyes up to the garbage that it is.
Baseball has action going on constantly. It may not seem like it, but there is a hell of a lot more stuff going on during one inning than an entire quarter of football for the most part. If a baseball game were edited down like they do football games where each pitch, hit, and action on the field is shown, it'd still be an hour or two worth of entertainment. Baseball is pretty much dying in this country since they can't figure out ways to inject more commercials into the game.
The fewer people that watch, the more advertisements that have to be added to account for the loss of revenue. Eventually you just get ads.
The only football thing I watch is highlights people share sometimes. Not my sport of choice. I’m an ice hockey man.
