Your intentions may be good, but anyone who stopped watching honestly isn’t thinking about football anymore. It’s kind of like the guy that likes to tell you he would never cheat on his wife. He’s usually the guy cheating on his wife.

I'm not American, and I could never understand why Americans like American football so much. I had tried to watch it, thinking, "if it is so popular, it must have at least something interesting" but it was boring. Soccer (or real football) or baseball are a lot more fun to watch.
