This needs to be discussed more often. I didn't know this until just a couple years ago, and could barely believe how stupid it sounded, the creation of the federal reserve was something I never thought about before.
In the same year we got the 16th amendment, which swapped tariffs for taxes. In other words, we could have a reasonably sized government funded by the shit we trade with other countries, but now we have China as a world superpower, being funded in part by American retailers. Our government, funded by high taxes, consists of millionaire retards who sell out to China, and love to give our government regulated dollar to other countries while they impose regulation to keep Americans from working and earning.
If you have any good sources on the creation or impact of the federal reserve, please share. Been wanting to learn more about this.
I think the IRS is also bullshit, but just a byproduct of the federal reserve.
Mistake #1 property tax
Mistake #2 16th amendment/federal reserve/IRS
I don't want to get into the slavery issue, but these two things gave the government way too much power and room for corruption. It's important to note we were on the verge of WW1 at the time, but fuck.. we should have dumped the taxes and federal reserve before the great depression. TAKE A LOOK AT HISTORY, LOTS OF PARALLELS TO TODAY.
WisestGuru93, not ranting at you, I ust got pissed thinking about the federal reserve.
Anybody who is reading, feel free to correct me if I'm off base on anything above.
We the people should start a campaign for Americans to learn more about American history. I am far from knowledgeable about history and have been looking for some good resources, books, series, documentaries? Let's spread the information before someone makes another song about passing the ammunition.
Edit: I picked a retarded thread to go off about US history
If you wanna dive into the federal reserve I recommend:
Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, Mike Maloney, the documentary 'the federal reserve a century of enslavement' (around 1 hr 30 min), the book the monster of Jekyll Island, etc.
Yes basically they tax us thru inflation (hidden tax) so there are people wealthier than Musk and Bezos.
Slavery was our biggest mistake
Not even close. It was the creation of the federal reserve and the IRS the same year.

Fuck off shill. Go get an upgrade from your overlords in creating discreet division.
