Abbot and the state reps would never fallow through. Any talk about secession by state leaders is just red meat to try and pacify the base. None of them want to risk the chance of gaining federal office later.

Texas secession is a pipe dream. It'll only happen the same way the swamp in DC would ever be drained and that's with force of arms.

(Disclaimer:. I am not calling for violence. I am just stating the facts as I see them. So all you alphabet types can just keep on scrolling.)

You are most likely correct. The caveat is if a majority of Texas started raising hell about it. If Abbot, et al, didn't listen, their political careers in Texas would be OVER. And they probably would not be safe to live in the Lone Star State. Texans have a long history of rebellion and distrust of government.

A plausible scenario of getting desired results from the US gov would be to terminate oil & gas exports to any blue states and/or US as a whole until election fraud was satisfactorily addressed.
