Time to stop using smart phones - or leave them at home. My friend's work is asking all employees to do an invasive health app- at the door prior to entry to workplace. People that do not have a phone are given a work phone. No thank you.
My fuckin' work has an app that everyone has to take their temperature every day.
I literally just put in a very obvious 98.6, 98.7, 98.9, 98.5, 98.6, 98.7, 98.8... pattern in there. After a couple months half the office moved back to working from home, and instantly uninstalled it.
Stupid invasion of privacy that wouldn't even pass basic data collection reliability standards.
I never started. Always hated the damn things - tracking your every movement, depersonalizing human interaction and turning people into commodities. The government keeps trying to send me one, but I keep tossing their letters in the trash alongside the "death and dismemberment" insurance the bank keeps trying to foist on me. If it was as valuable as they claim it wouldn't be free.
