You are a moron. Anyone with an ounce of common sense would realize a make believe, imaginary character that lives in the clouds didn't have the tools to create the world. Home Depot and Lowes weren't around back 100 billion years ago.

And clearly the project would have required government funding

Tell God to take a Break for a Few Minutes and throw the Crooks out of the White House And Put in the Anointed one, Donald J Trump

Anyone with reason, skepticism, and even a basic understanding of fundamental science could do this easily.

Nobody larps more than an atheist pretending to know why life exists while every scientist through history has told them we have literally no idea and this is an incomprehensible miracle.

I used to be one and now I realize that being an atheist is a ridiculous cop out.

Yup, So were Los Angeles and Chicago. If God is given credit for this intelligent design, why not the policies that wrought Chicago, New York, LA, Milwaukee, .... pick any festering liberal cesspool city.

An omnipotent being would have to be swayed to create or destroy. That would put the value of emotion higher than the being itself. Nothing, ever, could persuade a supreme being. Not love, hate, will nor need. It would be completely still and empty for eternity.

If a god exists, as we imagine, it would never be moved by anything. That in itself removes the knowledge of how we exist. You can never know and deciding on “truth” one way or another only displays the mental hubris of man.

Unless that God actually IS love, and wants you to understand that.

Wants?

If an omnipotent god “wanted” anything, it would be beholden to those wants. It would literally be lesser than an emotion.

You’re projecting part of the human experience upon the infinite. I suffice it to say, god as we know it is solely from the mind of man.

I'm not projecting anything; I'm reflecting. Repent, or enjoy your time with Biden and Obama.

Say wha? How the fuck you get all the way to Biden and Obama from our discussion ?

Take a breather, fren.

I find that contemplating the type of people with whom one will spend eternity is effective motivation for some.

The same who created this is the same who wrote a letter of absolutes.

Awesome view...There is a place in SC that is an open air church that will make your heart soar as well. Pretty Place is also a great motorcycle ride to get there.

You can't even drop a box of Lego's, which were designed to fit together, and accidentally make the object on the box. But nothing exploded, and then "oopsie, a human being!" Riiight.

It’s right in front of your face- dna and science is overwhelming proof for those care to think for themselves

Well... first, our sense of majesty or beauty is purely in our head, and what we see is probably not an absolute reality of the things. The colours, blue, green, white; they are all what humans and some few other Earth species can see. Heck, even the sense of colour itself may not exist in space aliens. Some aliens could come to the very place in the picture and think "Gee, what a dump." We probably are evolved to feel it "majestic" or "beautiful" because that kind of place is good for us to survive in than, say, a desert.

Secondly, we are only seeing the good things in the picture. If we get closer, that place is probably filled with nasty things like mosquitoes, parasites, ugly worms, rotting carcases, deadly bacteria/viruses, etc. I don't know, if I were god, unless there are some weird rules that even I can't change, I would have made the world a lot better for humans than it currently is. For starters, no mosquitoes; How about that? If you say "but mosquitoes are needed to make the ecosystem work", my answer will be "I would have designed an ecosystem that can work without mosquitoes, with my omnipotence and omniscience."

The geography can be explained by tectonics and whatnot, the existence of clouds can be explained by chemistry, and the green plants can be explained by evolution. If you think that is too dull and would rather believe a human-caring supernatural being created all of them for us, that is fine, as long as it does not affect your practical decisions of life.

And human just happened to come around after every animal had fully evolved. Where are the half evolved life forms? Where are the transitional fossils? Why were dinosaurs fossilized by flood like waters? Why are scientists finding blood and tissue in dinosaur fossils if they died 65 million years ago? Why are there fossilized trees without rings? Why does the grand canyon strata show signs of flood sedimentary deposits? How did all life forms on earth evolve from rock?

These are questions that me, as an ex climate scientists asked. There are answers though.

Ever look at a puddle of water and exclaim "OH! Isn't it amazing that the ground formed this perfect shape for the water to be in!"

Neither have I.
