In 2006 a link was posted at another website telling people to sell all of their Real Estate and buy Gold. Got a big laugh. That REIT let me call them owned not a single property by Jan 2007, made a mint on Gold, and retired. Those who did not listen lost their 401K's, their homes, Some everything. The REIT was questioned why did you not post it sooner? They said we posted it a year and a half before it all hit the fan, what are you talking about?
Why did they not listen? because of Greed. You get in, make the profit and get out. They can just sit and watch you say everything. You cannot see a damn thing they say. I want the average guy to win. I want them to succeed, own a home, everything. But I am not greedy. Just sayin.

But I climb the highest tree first and look around to see what is going on before I go. I know exactly my path. I never lie and I know exactly who posted that thread for the so-called REIT. You miss my point. I say make money, do not expect miracles. They hold the cards. Learn when to take the profit and go. All I am saying. I simply said Greed kills. You want to stay, stay. But I will tell you a true story. One of those guys sold a property to a so-called investor in 2007. 270K he got for his last property. Never thought about it again. Retired but just happened to drive by that house in 2010 and saw it was for sale by the bank. It had been ransacked, gutted grown over everything. He looked up the guy he sold it to and contacted him again and asked what had happened? He said I went all-in on Real Estate and lost everything. This guy who first sold it to the man who lost everything bought it from the bank for 25K. He fixed it up and gave it to the family of the man who lost everything. The moral of the story is this. If you think there are good guys who will return what you lose, think again. They do not work for Wall Street. Good Luck to you, however.
