The Patriot Party is a great idea as a movement, a terrible idea as an actual political party unless you can completely destroy the GOP. Not 80% of it, 100% of it, get it taken off the ballot entirely. Otherwise a certain percentage of people will vote GOP as they always have.

Even if voting is broken, and I agree that it is (at least in some states), if the goal is to fix the Republic so that voting does matter again, you still need enough people to vote for candidates from a particular party to elect the candidates you want at the end of it.

So forget about a national Patriot Party, make one locally if you know you can get enough popular support to win, and primary the hell out of all the RINOs in the GOP instead.
