Seyer-Ochi’s objection was to the “privilege, white privilege, male privilege and class privilege” symbolized by Sanders’s choice of a relatively casual Burton snowboarding jacket and repurposed wool mittens.

Privilege would imply it was OK. Instead, he was mocked mercilessly for it, which would imply a distinct lack of privilege. I would also point out that had a black man dressed that way, nobody would dare mock him in the same way, which is actual privilege.
