My son is currently earning his degree in Mechatronic Engineering & Aerospace.
He's wicked smaht. I'm a software engineer and I can't even comprehend the stuff he studies.
He has wanted this career since he was 12 and has worked very hard to get where he is.
He intended to join the US Marines after graduating in 2023 with the goal of being a Combat Engineer after OCS. It really made me proud that he would dedicate himself like that.
When the election was stolen from Trump, he canceled that plan. He said that he won't throw his life away for these traitorous bastards and that he would only serve under a MAGA Administration.
Now, he'll go into the private sector where he will earn more than me in his first year than I do after 25 years in IT.
