as far as the lefties go: abortion, overtly feminist nazis and general degeneracy is still strongly frowned upon believe it or not. Most lefties grow out of it, I know it cause I've seen it.

All those big protests etc - most of the people, silent majority, laugh at them. Many times those are the same people moving around through different towns - paid shills. It's mostly visible during all the LGBT "pride" parades - which regularly get bombarded with stones and fists by our boys. A little less than before but still.
