Went outside to have a quick smoke when I saw it. I then said out loud in a joking manner something along the lines of “Hello FBI, have you come to arrest me or confiscate my guns for making memes or questioning the election?” Not less than a minute after I said that a man crawled out of the back of the van into the driver’s seat and drove off. Coincidence?

They will be back

It's not paranoia if they really are watching you.

We had a rhyming version of your statement, "paranoia will destroy ya", and another, "How'd you know I was watching you, if you were not watching me?" The game is a foot. Lurker, I can appreciate the name. :)

I had a similar experience with a delivery rig that blocked my driveway and opened up all of the doors and spent 15 minutes rummaging through 15 parcel posts. Every door, passengers, side load, and rear. He saw me look out the window and poof, gone. It was really strange.

That just sounds like a well supplied thief, as they'll use a package and uniform as cover to either case or breach our home.

Thanks for the heads up. Makes sense. I live in a town where locking homes and car doors is optional, but times are changing.

If you have a security system, usually they have little signs you can stick in your yard in front of your house. Might deter them. If not, I've also seen someone with this sign before:

Don’t EVER put up any signs like that. Even the most incompetent, drunken ambulance chaser will obliterate you in a civil suit if you shoot.

great way to get your house broken into if no cars are home

thieves love knowing where guns are

My guns will retaliate. Buyer beware. I can't count the times my driveway was empty but I am home.

My security system is large lead distribution systems, followed by relational large lead distribution systems.

Blunderbuss and cannon w/ grape shot?

blitzkrieg 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nor quite. Completely legal. But based in today's logic, borderline. :)

I live in a safe community, but thieves from the city have been known to come out here to burglarize complacent property owners.

Those weren't his packages to deliver, they were ones he stole off people's porches.

Based on my location data, he'd have a long way to travel to gather packages. :)

You should set up a security camera and/or take photos the next time they show up.

I saw a couple posts in your history that could get their attention. Everyone should assume they are under investigation and live accordingly.

Maybe. I will say as a repair guy my entire career (if you scratch the stretch in the army). We typically drive white vans and sometimes need to pee with no pisser around. Also I have worked at company's that would fire you if you were to piss in a customers bathroom.

PS yall if your repair guy is doing the tinkle dance like a three year old. Be a pal. Let him take a leak. There are bad people out there but chances are he's just gotta go.

Last night, I dreamed the FBI came for me and I was pretty cynical and defiant for a dreamer

When I was a P.I. on surveillance and realized I was made (seen by others who started getting nosey) I had to abort the mission. We would call the local police ahead of time n let them know we were on a case so if neighbors called police they would already know why we were there! If we were there for a insurance fraud case we wud tell the cops it was a divorce case and visa versa!
