My understanding of the legal stipulations around the vaccine is that the vaccine creators cannot be sued by people; they are completely legally absolved if something goes wrong. I believe this stipulation was put into place in order to allow these companies to get the vaccine to the public so much sooner. That alone is the reason why I would never take it. If my life is somehow destroyed by taking a freak vaccine that screwed me up physically or mentally and I have no legal recourse, no protection, and it is just "oh well, you're fucked and can't support yourself anymore, get on welfare," I'm not taking it.

Its the 1986 law than released all liability from vaccine manufacturers. Before the law, they were getting used out-of business from adverse reactions from vaccine injections.
