This is the country people want to stay in, rather than secede and reform a true constitutional America?

🇨🇱CONFEDERATE STATES OF TEXAS🇨🇱

booblitchutz 18 points ago +18 / -0
  1. Canada
  2. The university made it clear it was not permitted and even threatened the students involved in this making of the spreadsheet with violating the school's Code of Conduct

While I agree that what these students are doing is insane, this article seems to be more reassuring that even in Socialist Canada there is still some remaining common sense and decency to be found.

12
border_humper 12 points ago +13 / -1

The email states they are violating the conduct code, but the school is taking no action, other than sending the email. What recourse for the students that have been tracked and hunted across social media? Doesn’t sound like they are going to be notified.

That was in Canada, but you still make a valid point.

This is at University of British Columbia law school. UBC is Canada's equivalent of an Ivy League university.

It's so easy to get neighbors to turn on neighbors.

16
Syme 16 points ago +16 / -0

Unfortunately, thanks to our country's policy, the 40% of students at most universities are here from the MIddle East, Asia, and Africa. Don't worry, they hate you, too.

Turning all against the one is an art that's hard to teach. Or so I've heard.

snuggs316 26 points ago +26 / -0

the university said all the right things; but the students that created that spreadsheet broke the student code of ethics....they should have been suspended. if you can't behave in an ethical and responsible manner as a law student, why would anyone believe you could do it as an actual attorney? turn the tables on the lil fascist shits.

6
monkadelic 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yeah, if you read the article, the university doesn't support this behavior. Which I admit is surprising, considering its Canada and clown world.

Canada is lost.

5
inspir3dgenius 5 points ago +5 / -0

Until you guys take us over. Then we will be found.

7
AsaNisiMAGA 7 points ago +7 / -0

Maybe. But until your guys stop being suicidally "nice" that's a losing proposition.

5
inspir3dgenius 5 points ago +5 / -0

There are advantages afforded to you through our suicidal niceness.

Like charging machine guns nests and being the experiment during beach landings.

That being said, we're not all pussies up here. Just most of us. Mandatory civics courses should fix that.

So the university stopped it. For now. Shocking actually, that they didn't assign it. But what sort of culture produces young people who would make such a list uncoerced in the first place? Canada, I guess. Honestly I cannot wait until the pendulum swings, as it always does, against these invasive controlling busybodies. A lot of what happened in the 1960s was a predictable outcome of the too tight social constraints of the 1950s. You think we have debauchery now? The rebellion against this will be epic.

Ugh, I would not want to hire twats like that.

Commies love reporting friends, neighbors, and family to the Politburo.

8
phandaal 8 points ago +8 / -0

If I as a hiring manager got emails from a bunch of little college shits complaining about "covid infractions" for someone I wanted to hire, I'd definitely hire that person.

5
side_o_beef 5 points ago +5 / -0

It's a great signal that you're about to hire a person with their own values and convictions that won't bow to the crowd and do the wrong thing when the pressure is on. Instant hire for me. I kinda want to see this list now...

If I was hiring people, the first resumes I would throw out are from the people who would do shit like this.

3
Pirate_Lafitte 3 points ago +3 / -0

They will never know where said student is submitting resumes/vitaes

3
Ham_Sandwich77 [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

They could just spam all the possible/relevant employers in the area with the entire list.

1
Pirate_Lafitte 1 point ago +1 / -0

First, there are potentially thousands of employers in a given area, and very possible the person is applying elsewhere. Second, no one important at those companies would even look at it. It would just get circular filed by whatever file clerk handled incoming emails.

Loiuzein 3 points ago +3 / -0

I legitimately believe that we should lie about people we dislike and claim ad infinitum that they are violating [insert rule we don't like here].

3
123breadman 3 points ago +3 / -0

What's stopping someone from just sending it about all their peers except for themselves?

Do they not think that far?

Nah, the useful idiots will never have a knife stuck in their back. After all, they've been good little communists.

It took a very long time for me to accept that Democrats want to destroy America because they believe we are Evil. It was a much shorter process to understand that the Republican Party has been infiltrated with the same people. But I struggle now to watch Americans turn in their family, neighbors and strangers. It sounds stupid but I just can't believe what I am seeing. Supposedly Freedom Loving Americans begging to be subservient to their Government Bureaucrats.

First, this is Canada, which isn't even a real country anyway.

Second, all these students will soon be fighting over a limited number of internships/jobs, so this is normal behavior for many at this stage in advanced programs.

I dated a girl that was getting her MBA from a highly ranked program. The program was case based to give you a clue.

I spent about two weeks visiting her at school and would hang out with her classmates in the evening. Somehow, before everything was on the internet, I was familiar with many of the business cases they were studying and could contribute to their conversations. Otherwise they would have never spoken to me unless I could sell them coke or adderall.

These MBA students were the most duplicitous and back stabbing young people I had ever encountered. No one dared share even the slightest bit of info about their future prospects or else the others would try to steal or sabotage it. I wish I had known more about Industrial & Organizational Psychology back then. I could have made a mint referring them to headhunters. These students were just the type of sociopaths that corporations love to hire.

I can only imagine how much more cutthroat it must be for law students. These MBA students had it easy.

This is how Communism takes root and thrives. Roughly 60% of people are power hungry assholes who actually approve of the regime and enjoy participation. That's why it keeps happening again and again wherever and whenever the 40% become complacent.
