That argument is the same as when people were bitching that we should stay on Reddit and “hold the line”.
Until the alternatives are established enough it's silly to abandon existing infrastructure. As it is now YouTube pays Steven Crowder to tell the world how screwed up YouTube is. Maybe there are some similarities between YouTube and Reddit, however I still don't see the value in making their job easier by just walking away without the required alternative platforms in place.
