Yep. They whittle down your teeth to put in the veneers. Such a gross process to think about and once they're done, you look... a little odd..

I had it done myself - I suffered from bruxism (grinding my teeth at night) for many years and my enamel was worn and I was very self conscious about my teeth. I saved up for it and now I have a great smile and much more self-confidence. It's worth it especially if the appearance of your teeth is beyond your control IMO.

TV and film actors get them because the the lighting on set makes your teeth semi transparent and they look like shit on film. They tend to go overboard with them and they don't look natural. Plus once they get them, they always have their mouths hanging open because their teeth don't fit anymore, see above pic I linked to.

Her massive veneers have always made me laugh. She can barely close her lips around them, and when she does she looks like a boxer with his mouthpiece in.
