’m running for office in my state as a Democrat (no GOP here). If I somehow can beat the rigging to become governor, they will be begging to have a guy like Trump in office.

That's my plan honestly. Skinsuit the Democrat Party then after winning office turning around and switching parties to the Patriot Party.
All you have to do is meet privately with Republican voters and spread the word that you're not really a Democrat, but are just running as one as a sleeper agent, and that they should all support you at the ballot box (assuming your elections aren't 100% rigged)
